CAFE is a subsidiary of Sonoma County Conservation Action, and, as such, needed a logo that would complement the preexisting SCCA logo, while establishing their own independent identity. The leaf in this logo was scanned from an oak tree in my front yard, and converted to a graphic image. The same was true of the SCCA PAC logo, which features a redwood sprig, also scanned from a piece of a redwood tree in my front yard. Created digitally.
